I was night fishing with some friends on a small boat last week and I brought along my Petzl headlamp. The guys I was with kept asking me for some light. All of them fumbling with hand-held flashlights, trying to bait hooks and find pliers, etc. I LOVE headlamps for any night-time stuff like that. Hands-free can't be beat, especially when baiting hooks or tying on swivels at night! I use a Petzl 5 LED + halogen bulb lamp. Absolutely awesome light, highly recommended.
